Workshop Description:
The art of arm-balancing requires fortitude of both body and mind, but with proper guidance, is much more accessible than one might presume. Anatomy, entry, and breath control are all fundamental elements that can be taught to supplement and enhance any arm-
balancing practice. Join Brian Carew for a movement and arm-balancing workshop designed to add confidence and a sense of play to your movement practice. This 2hr workshop will include:

– Full body movement-based warm-up
– Joint health routine (emphasizing wrists and shoulders)
– Hand & body positioning for optimal arm-balancing
– Accessing Crow (w/ variations), peacock, and QDR
– Guided meditation and breathing exercises to close the session
– ALL LEVELS welcome (progressive approach offered for varying skill levels)

Cost is $30 and I am capping this at 15 people. I will be attaching a Perky sign-up link soon. A portion of the proceeds will be going to RYUs charity of the month.

Brian Carew is a Movement Instructor and 700hr RYT passionate about discovering the layers of the body’s vast movement potential. he believes that each of us has the ability to unlock precision, depth, and self-awareness through exploring the landscapes of the moving human body. Brian combines his training in yoga and various movement practices to create a genuine experience of self-discovery and joy for his students in a safe and balanced environment. Brian emphasizes balance, strength, mobility, and a sense of curiosity in his teachings and practice.
