Feel as flexible as a crowbar? Find large studio classes intimidating? Want to expand your network of like-minded Bros?
BROGA is a relaxed, fun and safe environment for a small group of men to learn this transformative practice. A place where it’s okay if you can’t already touch your toes. Each class will start slow breaking down the basics and build towards a sequence that results in whole-body strength, mobility, flexibility and balance. Bonus! You will also learn some simple stress dissolving breathing and meditation techniques along the way.
This series is for you if you:
• Are male (sorry ladies, this one is for the fellas)
• Have never tried yoga or attended a yoga class and left confused
• Want to build strength, increase flexibility and access more mobility
• Looking for a complimentary practice to your active lifestyle
• Enjoy having fun while learning something new
• Looking to expand your circle of bros
Did someone say post-bending brews?
That’s right, each week yoga will run from 7pm-8pm followed by a 30-minute social for a chance to chat with your fellow Brogis over a hot brew (tea) and, once a month, a cold brew (beer).
Time: 6:30pm-8pm (1 hour yoga + 30 min optional social
**Please bring: yoga mat, water + towel
Class options: 5 or 10-class passes available to use within 12 consecutive classes
A few words from my existing Brogis:
“The classes and Belinda are phenomenal, being a guy who hadn’t done much yoga, I was a bit nervous going into it but I couldn’t have asked for a more fun, positive and safe environment to start my Brogi journey. From the music to settingyour intention you can clearly see her passion throughout the class, from start to finish the class is full of smiles and laughs and that is due to her amazing energy. #brogi4life” – Viresh P.
“As a guy, I’ve often been drawn to going to lifting weights, cardio, and generally sweating it out with all the other (mostly) unhappy people at the gym – this was my “fitness” routine and I thought it was great! What I didn’t realize was just how much was lacking from that routine; proper breathing and stretching, relaxation, strength-training in areas and ways I’d never considered, not to mention an actual community of awesome, supportive, and like-minded people. Add to this Belinda’s warm, welcoming, adaptive teaching-style and some great music and now the Yoga class is an integral part (not to mention highlight) of my week!” – Chris G.
