Date/Time: 9:00AM-10:00AM (Every Sunday Feb. 3 to Mar. 30 – Race is Apr. 6)
Event Description: Have you always wanted to run in an official race but maybe felt too intimidated or unsure of how to fit in? Or have you wanted to run a race and just weren’t sure how to set it up? Or maybe you’re just looking for some running buddies to kick butt with? If any of those sound like you then our 5k Training Club is just for you!
We will do one run every week starting small and building up to a pace and distance that will get us comfortable running our 5k race at the end of the program. You will also be left with a little bit of running homework to work on a couple times throughout the week. Each session will begin with a warm up before we take off and crush our goal for the day! We will move, make new friends, and most importantly – have loads of fun!
Cost: Weekly training sessions by-donation – $5 Suggested for Right To Play – *Race fee will apply.

Shane Organ: Shane is a nutritionist studying at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition with a passion for athletics and sports performance. He is always looking for ways to get more people involved with living a happier life full of movement and healthy habits.
Nick Scerba: Through his involvement in various running clubs in Toronto’s downtown core, Nick has developed a passion for competitive and non-structured running. His background in Kinesiology and dedication to human performance bring a positive mindset to any activity and fuel Nick’s want for everyone to become better, faster, stronger.
