We offer full refund or exchange on all unused products within 37.5 days of purchase. No questions asked. Please return each item in original packaging with RYU hangtags attached, and we’ll provide a refund, exchange, or credit. It’s that simple.
We are committed to developing the most durable urban athletic apparel in the market. If your product fails to perform or is damaged due to a material or manufacturing issue, we’ll replace it or work with you to find another solution. All replacements are at the discretion of the RYU team.
Any item returned to us that is not in an unused or unworn state, or is missing the RYU hangtags, will be subject to a discretionary cleaning and/or re-stocking fee. If the item(s) cannot be returned to inventory for whatever reason, we will be in touch right away.
How do I set up a return or exchange?
To start a return or exchange, submit a request via our Contact Form, where you will be prompted to include your Order #. In your message, please state the exact items that you wish to return.
We will provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) form, where you’ll complete your name, order number (found in the subject of your order confirmation email) and the item(s) you wish to return. You must complete the RA form accordingly, and include it within your returning package.
All orders made through ryu.com will contain a free return shipping label. Please affix this to your returning package to cover the cost of sending the item(s) back to us. Please note that we cannot generate shipping labels and RYU customers will receive just one free return shipping label per order.
For exchanges, please follow the returns procedure and we will issue a refund as quickly as possible. We kindly ask that you make a replacement order on ryu.com at your convenience.

Please note that it can take up to 5 business days to process a return from date of arrival at the respective warehouse and the failure to obtain an RA form and number is likely to delay the refund/exchange process. Once we have received and processed your return, the refund will be issued to the original method of payment.
How do I return/exchange a gift?
To initiate your gift return, contact us via our Contact Form and select ‘Return or Exchange’ from ‘Reason’ drop down menu. Please be sure to include your Order Number within the corresponding form field.
Can an online order be returned in-store and vice versa?
I used a promo code on my order. How do I keep these savings if I want to return my gear?
In the event you return an item that you purchased with a promotion code, we will issue a new code and honor a subsequent with the same terms and conditions.
What do I do if my RYU item arrives damaged?

You may initiate your return by contacting us via our Contact Form and select “Return or Exchange’ from the ‘Reason’ drop down menu. Please be sure to include your Order Number within the corresponding form field, and upon our follow-up, we recommend having pictures on hand to document the damage to your order, so that we may best serve you and the situation.
How long does a refund or exchange take to process?
From start to finish, please give your refund/exchange 7 – 10 days to get back to you. Our Returns Teams are located on the West Coast, so return travel may take up to 5 business days plus an additional 5 business days for processing. From the date the fund is processed, it may take up to 3 business days for the refund to appear on your credit card statement.
What is RYU’s Gear Replacement Guarantee?
We build gear for your toughest workouts. If within one year of date of purchase you accidentally damage or completely wear through your gear, we’ll replace the item at half the current price.*
*Can only be used once per original transaction. Must provide proof of purchase and cover return shipping costs (if not returned in-store).
How do I return from an APO/FPO/DPO Address?
We are currently unable to create prepaid return labels for APO, FPO, and DPO addresses. You can send any returns back our way through USPS to the address listed below.

How do I return an international order (defined as shipped outside of Canada or the United States)?
